Lille Airport is located around twelve kilometres to the south of Lille city centre. It can be found in the middle of a network of motorways which makes getting there very simple. It should take around fifteen minutes to get from the airport to the city
The airport sits on four hundred and fifty hectares of space, five of which are taken up by buildings. There are three terminals. The passenger terminal is capable of handling up to two million passengers a year. It was first used in 1996. It was built so it could be expanded to hold an extra million passengers if needed in the future. Passenger numbers in 2007 reached over one million.
The second terminal is a freight terminal which has over thirteen thousand metres of warehouse space and three thousand metres of office space. The third terminal is used for General and Business Aviation.
Situated at the exit of the arrivals hall you will find four car hire Lille Airport desks. Car hire can be booked in advance by scrolling to Lille or Lille Airport on our booking engine located to your right.
There is a shuttle bus run by Navette which costs five euro one way and eight euro return to get into Lille. There is also the option of getting a taxi from the airport.
Five airlines which operate out of the airport are Aigle Azur, Air Algerie, Royal Air Maroc, Air France and Ryanair. Ryanair offer connecting flights to Marseille, Alicante and Pisa. There are also connecting flights to other French cities available from Air France.
