The official name of Rennes Airport is Saint-Jacques Airport or in French Aéroport de Rennes. The airport is situated six kilometres from Rennes.

There is an information point located at the airport in the arrivals hall. It is open until quarter to eleven at night from Monday to Friday but closes at half nine on Saturdays and a quarter past six on Sundays.
